How can we help you?
Our services on flat roofs
New installation – We provide a solid foundation, a proper slope, and high-quality bitumen roofing, including finishing all details. Renovation – Remove the old layer or apply a new layer, depending on the condition of the existing roof. Repair – We repair leaks, cracks, and damage quickly and thoroughly.
Insulation for flat roofsDuring renovation or refurbishment it is time to insulate.
We apply high-quality roof insulation on top of the structure, underneath the new bitumen layer.
This ensures less heat loss, lower energy costs and more comfort in the home or building.
Finishing and detailsA good flat roof is more than just the roof covering:
- Sleek aluminum or zinc roof trims
- Correct and safe rainwater drainage with leaf grilles
- Professional finishing around penetrations for air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump
- Installation or replacement of skylights and upstands
When is replacement necessary?
A bitumen flat roof lasts an average of twenty to twenty-five years, but the exact lifespan depends largely on the quality of the material, the installation and maintenance.
Over time, the material can dry out, crack, or blister. Seams can also come loose, or the top layer can become damaged by weather, falling branches, or heavy use. If these problems aren't addressed promptly, the risk of leaks increases rapidly.
Water seeping in through small cracks can cause significant damage to the roof structure, insulation, and the building's interior. Moisture problems often lead to mold growth, wood rot, and in severe cases, even structural damage to the building.
That's why it's essential to have your roof inspected regularly and take immediate action if signs of wear or damage are found. This will prevent unexpected costs and significantly extend the lifespan of your roof.
