At DakKey, we operate under the VCA (Safety, Health, and Environment Checklist for Contractors) quality mark. This means our employees are trained to work safely and responsibly at height. Safety for our customers, colleagues, and the environment is always our top priority.

Your roofing project is in good hands with us. DakKey is covered by Business Liability Insurance (AVB). Should any damage unexpectedly occur during our work, you, as our customer, are always insured.

For larger renovations or new construction, we offer Construction All Risk (CAR) insurance. This coverage protects both you and us against damage throughout the entire construction process, whether it's due to storms, theft, or unforeseen circumstances.

DakKey isn't just any roofing company. We're the result of the merger of three independent entrepreneurs who each worked in the roofing industry for many years. Each of us had our own sole proprietorship, our own clientele, and our own unique way of working. What do we share? A passion for craftsmanship, the drive to consistently deliver quality, and the belief that things can always be better.


By joining forces, we founded DakKey: a professional roofing company that offers more than just one individual. We serve a larger region, can take on larger projects, and our clients benefit from the security of a full team instead of just one person. This means there's always someone available, projects are completed faster and more efficiently, and we have the expertise of three experienced roofers in-house.

    DakKey specializes in all roofing related matters: from complete roof renovations to minor repairs, from flat roofs to tiled roofs. We also handle chimney maintenance, roof inspections, roof coatings, and installing roof penetrations for air conditioners or solar panels.

  • 2. How do I know if my roof needs replacing?

    There are several signs that your roof needs maintenance or replacement, such as leaks, loose roof tiles, moss growth, or worn roofing. Our experts are happy to visit you for a free inspection and provide honest advice about the condition of your roof.

  • 3. How much does a roof renovation or repair cost?

    Every roofing job is customized. That's why we always offer a free, no-obligation roof inspection. This allows us to properly assess your situation and provide a fair, transparent quote, with no surprises. Only after the inspection will you know exactly what you're getting. This is how we keep things clear and reliable.

  • 4. Do you have experience with flat and sloping roofs?

    Absolutely. We have extensive experience with both bitumen for flat roofs and ceramic or concrete roof tiles for pitched roofs. Each situation requires a different approach, and we handle them all.

  • 5. Can I also come to you for just a roof inspection?

    Yes, absolutely. A roof inspection is a smart choice, for example, for an older home, if there's a leak, or if you want to have your roof inspected for a future renovation. If we are authorized to offer or perform the work, we'll perform the inspection free of charge and without obligation. If you want the inspection performed for an official report when buying or selling a home, we charge a fee. In that case, you'll receive a comprehensive inspection report including photos, an assessment of the roof's condition, and recommendations for maintenance or renovation.

  • 6. Do you also do emergency repairs?

    Absolutely! In the event of storm damage, leaks, or other urgent problems, we take action as quickly as possible. We're often on-site the same day to prevent further damage.

  • 7. What about air conditioners and solar panels on the roof?

    If solar panels, air conditioning, or other systems are already present on your roof, we ensure the work is carried out safely and efficiently. We'll coordinate with your current installer beforehand to determine whether they will handle the disassembly and reassembly. If that's not possible, we can handle it ourselves after consultation. This ensures your existing systems remain in top condition and our work can proceed smoothly.

  • 8. Are you certified and insured?

    Absolutely. DakKey operates according to the highest safety and quality standards. We are VCA certified, fully insured under Business Liability (AVB), and also have Construction Comprehensive Insurance (CAR) for coverage during work. We offer a standard warranty on all work, depending on the type of job and materials used. This warranty ranges from 1 to 10 years. Everything is clearly communicated and documented in advance.
